SACRONAIL at World Surgery Tour
As part of this year’s World Surgery Tour in Germany, SIGNUS had the opportunity to share innovative solutions and clinical expertise directly with the surgical community. The event provided an ideal platform for personal exchange, interdisciplinary learning, and hands-on demonstrations of modern surgical techniques.
Around 20 participants from BG clinics (Occupational Health Clinics) across Germany used the course format for an intensive professional exchange on the treatment of pelvic ring fractures. Particular interest focused on the SACRONAIL®, which was presented during interactive speed-dating sessions. Product Manager Rolf Schmid introduced the benefits and application possibilities of the system for sacral fixation, answered questions, and facilitated valuable professional discussions.
A special highlight was the cadaver hands-on workshop led by Dr. Emre Yilmaz from BG Universitätsklinikum Bergmannsheil Bochum. Participants had the opportunity to apply the SACRONAIL® in a realistic setting and experience the workflow directly on the specimen. The combination of theoretical knowledge and practical application created significant added value and once again demonstrated the importance of innovative educational formats.
The event concluded with a joint dinner, offering additional opportunities for personal conversations, networking, and further exchange with participants. We would like to thank everyone involved and already look forward to future events and collaborations.
