Recap of the 2nd Bern Spine Trauma Workshop

At the 2nd Bern Spine Trauma Workshop in Switzerland, our team was pleased to contribute to an intensive and practice-oriented educational event for spine specialists. The focus of the workshop was on professional exchange and the hands-on application of modern spinal stabilization techniques.

Across four dedicated stations, we demonstrated the clinical application of the COSY® Cervicothoracic Occipital System and the DIPLOMAT® Pedicle Screw System. The program was complemented by structured theoretical sessions, divided into cervical and lumbar topics, allowing participants to build a solid conceptual foundation before moving into practical training.

A particular highlight of the event was the first presentation of the new COSY® system in a workshop environment. It attracted significant interest among participants and led to valuable discussions regarding surgical technique and implant strategy.

The combination of theory and hands-on training on sawbone models enabled participants to directly apply and refine their skills in a realistic setting. Overall, the workshop provided an excellent platform for interdisciplinary exchange, continuing education, and meaningful professional networking.

We sincerely thank all participants for their active engagement and valuable contributions. We look forward to continuing the dialogue and welcoming you again at future events.
