MAXOP® is a modular, self-retaining wound retractor system configured for ALIF access. A wide range of retention arms and blades are available to ensure adaptation to the individual patient anatomy. Ideal for use in combination with the BIG® ST cage with integrated screw connection for ALIF access.

  • Customisable configuration: wide range of retaining arms and blades for individual patient anatomy.
  • Freely positionable retaining arms: each arm can be aligned independently within the surgical field.
  • Interdisciplinary use: suitable for a variety of medical specialties and surgical procedures, in particular ALIF access.
Efficient and reliable soft tissue retraction
  • Innovative quick-release blade retention system (PTL): blades can be changed in seconds without disassembling the holder.
  • Swivable or lockable blades: flexible adjustment as required using a simple rotary knob.
  • Stable self-retention: enables tension-free retraction without requiring additional manual force.
