KAINOS Inject represents the latest evolutionary stage of the proven bone graft made of biphasic calcium ceramics for the construction of new bone in cages or in bony defects. Developed on the basis of a new technology, KAINOS Inject consists of an ideal mixture of porous particles of various sizes, down to the nano range. In addition to the very good bioactive properties, an outstanding effect of nanotechnology is also evident in the rapid vascularisation of the material and the rapid immigration of cells, nutrients and growth factors. It is precisely this that enables effective involvement in the remodeling process in the first place.

KAINOS Inject is a bioactive, synthetic bone graft material for filling bone defects orinterbody implants. It represents the latest evolutionary stage of the proven bone graft made of biphasic calcium ceramics
for the construction of new bone. KAINOS Inject is a hydrated, paste-like granulate with excellent application properties:

It will not cure
➔ It adheres securely in the bone defect or implant

An outstanding effect of the applied nanotechnology is the rapid vascularisation of the material and the rapid infiltration with cells, nutrients and growth factors.

Osteoconductive, osteogenetic, bioactive
  • Provides an effective "guiding framework" for ingrowth of bone
  • Its crystallinity is very similar to natural bone material
Resorbable and angiogenic
  • High integration rate
  • Fast conversion to new bone
  • Fast vascularisation and cell migration
Moldable and plastic
  • Ideal adaptation to the size and shape of a defect or the cavity of a cage
  • Prevents morbidity and reduces surgery time

KAINOS Inject is an injectable, pasty granulate consisting of micro- and macroporous particles. The biphasic calcium ceramic consists of 60% hydroxyapatite (HA) and 40% tri-calcium phosphate (ß-TCP). It is precisely this mixture of the less soluble HA component and the more rapidly soluble ß-TCP, combined with particle sizes in the nano range, that provides the perfect balance between the resorption of the material and the simultaneous formation of new bone. At the same time, the material has excellent usage properties: as it is a hydrated granulate, it does not harden (until it is replaced by new bone). Due to its density, KAINOS Inject can be assessed very well on X-rays.
