The digital DGNC

SIGNUS was sponsor of the joint meeting with the Japanese Society. The 71st Annual Meeting of the German Society of Neurosurgery (DGNC) took place from 21 to 24 June 2020. Not in Lübeck as planned, but DIGITAL.

In times of CORONA, virtual events are currently shooting up like mushrooms and we are all becoming increasingly familiar with this "new" way of communication. Some things are bumpy at first, but the learning curves are steep once you get involved. The DGNC presentations were all well prepared and very focused. A virtual visit to the exhibition stands was possible. 3D stands will certainly accompany us more in the future. We are right in the middle of the change! The virtual meeting of the DGNC provided for knowledge transfer and an exchange among colleagues and experts.  With regard to participation in virtual lectures, the DGNC certainly had a big plus, since the focus was entirely on the content.
